Brief
Transform a Credit Card Brochure (print PDF) into a web landing page that's clear, engaging, and easy to read, encouraging customers to explore further. The goal was to maintain the original message while optimising the content for web and mobile platforms, focusing on scannability and readability. The content needed to be:
Digestible with links to related articles created as part of the same project.
In CommBank’s conversational tone, using plain and inclusive language.
Relevant to two audiences: customers who had just opened an account and received a link and users who found the page through organic searches.
Problem statement
How might we reduce printing costs and make the credit card interest brochure more accessible online for new, existing and potential customers?
Approach
In a collaboration session with product and the website producer, we used the brochure to map out what content was missing from the website and what content existed on the website but needed to be edited. We then used the design library to map the landing page and determine which design elements we'd use.
